Fabric: Extra soft cotton, viscose, & polyester blend
Colour: Cornflower blue, featuring Kani crab showing off his chopstick skills!

About The Appliqué: My hand-collaged characters are printed onto big rolls of linen fabric. I carefully cut around each character and sew him/her onto the t-shirt using a tiny zigzag stitch. Each t-shirt is unique, and the edges of the animals fray slightly when washed, giving a fun & textured effect.
Washing: Machine wash at 40°C maximum. Tumble dry on a very low heat.

Every collection begins in Hossegor France, in Sophie’s sketchbook, which is full of paper collage print designs. These designs are then printed onto lovely natural fibre fabrics in England.
 
Once the fabrics have crossed the sea, back to Sophie’s little beach house, she sets about carefully cutting, pinning, and sewing each and every product.
 
Some take a ride in her bike basket to be posted to online customers, others are packed into the car for busy Hossegor market days.
